36. Appointment of officers
(1) No appointment of an officer by an insurer shall take effect without
the prior approval of the Commission.
(2) An insurer shall ensure and demonstrate to the Commission at the
time of an application for approval in accordance with subsection (1) that the
person is a fit and proper person to be appointed officer.
