25. Verification and grading
(1) Any person may present a precious or semi-precious stone, whether
loose or set in jewellery, to the Director for verification.

(2) The Director shall, after such appropriate examination of the precious
or semi-precious stone as he considers necessary, deliver to the person a
certificate of verification which shall certify the authenticity of the precious
or semi-precious stone.
