7. Restrictions on reports
(1) (a) Subject to paragraph (b), no report of any proceedings in a Juvenile Court shall reveal the name, address or school, or include any particulars
calculated to lead to the identification of any juvenile concerned in those proceedings either as being the person against or in respect of whom the proceedings are taken or as being a witness nor shall any photograph or picture
be published as being or including a photograph or picture of that juvenile.

Juvenile Offenders Act
(b) The Court or the President may, if satisfied that it is in the interests of justice to do so, by order, dispense with the requirements of this section to such extent as may be specified in the order.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall commit an offence
and shall, on conviction, be liable in respect of each offence to a fine not
exceeding 10,000 rupees.
