Section 29: Registration of foreign limited liability partnership

29. Registration of foreign limited liability partnership (1) On receipt of an application under section 28 (1), and on being satisfied that the requirements for registration under this Act have been complied with, the Registrar shall— (a) enter in the register the particulars of the foreign limited liability partnership referred to in section 25 (3); and (b) issue a certificate of registration in such form as he may approve and subject to such conditions as he may determine. (2) A certificate of registration of a foreign limited liability partnership issued under this section shall, unless it has ceased to be valid, be conclusive evidence that— (a) all the requirements of this Act as to its formation and registration have been complied with; and (b) the foreign limited liability partnership is registered under this Act as a foreign limited liability partnership as from the date of registration specified in the certificate of registration. [Issue 9] L15A1 – 18 Revised Laws of Mauritius (3) A foreign limited liability partnership shall notify the Registrar of any change or alteration in any of the particulars referred to in section 25 (3) within 21 days of such change or alteration.
