6. Powers of inspection of Registrar
(1) For the purpose of ascertaining whether a limited partnership or an
officer is complying with this Act, the Registrar may, on giving at least 72
hours’ written notice to the limited partnership, call for the production of, or
inspect, any book required to be kept by the limited partnership.
(2) Subject to subsection (4), the Registrar may, by notice in writing, to a
limited partnership or to any of its general partners, require the limited partnership or the partner to produce any information relating to the accounting
records referred to in section 39.
(3) Subject to subsection (4), this section shall also apply to a foreign
limited partnership which conducts business in Mauritius.
(4) Subsection (2) shall not apply to a limited partnership which is licensed
by the Commission.
