145. Abandonment of revenue
(1) Subject to any regulations made by the Minister, no claim for arrears
of revenue shall be abandoned and no loss of revenue shall be written off by
a local authority except with the approval of the Minister.
(2) When submitting a request for approval of the Minister for abandonment of revenue, a Chief Executive shall submit a certificate to the effect
that all avenues for the recovery of the revenue have been explored but to
no avail.
