44. Acts not invalidated by vacancy
Every act done by a local authority shall, notwithstanding any vacancy in
the local authority or the subsequent discovery that there was a defect in the
election or appointment of a person purporting to be a Councillor, be as valid
as if no such vacancy or defect had existed.
