47. Establishment of Executive Committee (1) Every local authority, other than a Village Council, shall have an Executive Committee. (2) An Executive Committee shall comprise— (a) the Lord Mayor, Mayor or Chairperson, as the case may be; (b) the Deputy Lord Mayor, Deputy Mayor or Vice-Chairperson, as the case may be; and (c) 5 other members of the Council, to be appointed by the Lord Mayor, Mayor or Chairperson, as the case may be.
