17. Consent of security patients
(1) A security patient may be administered treatment with his consent or
the consent of his next of kin.
(2) Where the security patient is unable to give his consent and his next
of kin cannot be traced or refuses to give consent, a treatment plan shall be
submitted to the Commission for approval before any treatment is given.
