33. Conveyance and detention of persons unfit to stand trial
(1) Where a Court finds that any person charged with an offence is unfit
to stand trial under section 74 of the Criminal Procedure Act and makes an
order for the confinement of the person in a centre, the order shall be sufficient authority for the Police to convey the person forthwith to the centre
specified in the order.
(2) On receipt of an order under subsection (1), the Superintendent shall
immediately inform the Commission of the confinement and shall detain the
person referred to in the order as a security patient.
