147. Duties of salvor
Every salvor shall owe a duty to the owner of the vessel or other property
in danger to—
(a) carry out the salvage operation with due care;
(b) exercise due care to prevent or minimise damage to the environment in performing the duty specified in paragraph (a);
(c) seek assistance from other salvors whenever the circumstances
reasonably so require; and
(d) accept the intervention of other salvors when reasonably requested to do so by the owner or master of the vessel or the
owner of other property in danger, but the amount of his remuneration shall not be prejudiced where he proves that such a request was unreasonable.
