27. Retention of documents
(1) Where a ship is registered, the Registrar shall retain a copy of any
builder’s certificate or bill of sale or other evidence of title produced on registration, as well as any certificate of measurement or survey, and all declarations made in connection with registration as required by this Part.
(2) Every document which has been produced to the Registrar to establish title shall be returned to the applicant after it has been stamped by the
Registrar to indicate that it has been used for the registration of a ship.
