30. Transfer or transmission of ship or share
Subject to section 35, where there is a transfer or transmission of a Mauritius ship or a share in it—
(a) the person ceasing to own the ship or share, or in the event of
his death, his heirs, shall notify the Registrar and surrender the
certificate of registration; and
(b) the certificate of registration shall be cancelled and the registration frozen pending an application for the registration of the
transfer or transmission by the new owner of the ship or share.
