62. Premature termination of employment
(1) Where the employment of seafarer terminates before the date contemplated in the agreement and is left on shore by reason of his unfitness or
inability to proceed on the voyage, he shall be entitled to wages for time
served up to the time of that termination.
(2) Where the employment of a seafarer terminates before the date contemplated in his agreement by reason of the loss or foundering of the ship on
which he was employed, he shall be entitled to receive wages in respect of
each day on which he is unemployed during a period of 2 months from the
date of termination of his service at the rate stipulated in his agreement.
