41. Offences
(1) Any notary who contravenes section 3 (3), 3 (4) (c), 6 (1), 6 (2), 7,
8, 20 (1), 34 (1), 34 (3) or 37 (4) shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 100,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years.
(2) Any person who contravenes section 6 (3) or 12 (4) shall commit an
offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 100,000
rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years.
