6. Registers (1) The Office shall maintain separate registers for patents, industrial designs, marks and collective marks and trade names. (2) All the entries and recordings provided for in this Act shall be effected in the appropriate register. (3) Subject to section 48 (1), the registers may be consulted by any person and any person may obtain extracts therefrom, under such conditions as may be prescribed. (4) The Controller shall cause to be published, all the publications provided for in this Act, in such manner as may be prescribed.
