44. Powers of Director-General
(1) The Director-General shall not allow the removal of any imported
pharmaceutical product from the place where it is stored unless the relevant
invoice has been endorsed by the Registrar to show that the importation of
the article is authorised under this Act.
(2) Where any pharmaceutical product is imported in contravention of
this Act, the Director-General shall seize and remit it to the Permanent Secretary to be disposed of in such manner as the Permanent Secretary thinks fit.
