Section 6: Education Committee

6. Education Committee (1) There shall be for the purposes of this Act an Education Committee which shall advise the Board on the— (a) qualifications required in respect of persons applying for registration as students; (b) organisation of courses of instruction or students and assistant pharmacists; (c) preparation of the syllabus for any examination in pharmacy; (d) appointment of examiners for, and the conduct of, examinations in pharmacy. (2) The Committee shall consist of— (a) the Chief Government Pharmacist as Chairperson; (b) a representative of the Ministry responsible for the subject of education; (c) a representative of the University of Mauritius; and (d) 2 pharmacists appointed by the Minister.
