16. Assistance to police officers
(1) Where a police officer in the exercise of his duty considers it reasonably necessary, he may call upon a male person, apparently over the age of
18, to assist him to apprehend any person or to convey any person in his
charge to a police station or to any other place.
(2) Where a person who has been called upon to assist a police officer
under subsection (1) fails to do so, he shall commit an offence.
