18. Open international bidding
(1) Open advertised international bidding shall be used where—
(a) the estimated value of the procurement exceeds the prescribed
threshold;
(b) the goods, works or other services are not available under competitive price and other conditions from more than one supplier
in Mauritius; or
(c) there is no response to open national bidding and the goods, other
services or works have to be obtained from international bidders.
