11. Assistance to officer
(1) An officer in the exercise of his duty may call upon any male adult to
assist him to apprehend any person or to convey any person in his charge to
an institution or any other place.
(2) Where a person called upon to assist an officer pursuant to subsection (1) fails to do so, he shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction,
be liable to pay a fine not exceeding 1,000 rupees.
