3A. Office of Registration of Associations
(1) The public office responsible for the registration, cancellation, inspection and general supervision of associations
shall be known as the Office of Registration of Associations.

Registration of Associations (Amendment) Act
(2) The head of the Office of Registration of Associations
shall be known as the Chief Registrar of Associations and shall
be a legal practitioner of not less than 5 years’ standing.
(3) The Chief Registrar shall be assisted by such number of
registrars or other public officers as may be necessary.
(4) The Chief Registrar and the other registrars shall be
public officers.
(5) The registrars shall be under the administrative control
of the Chief Registrar.
