Section 6: Consequential amendments

6. Consequential amendments (1) The Employees Superannuation Fund Act is amended in section 2, in the definition of “Registrar” by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (2) The Industrial Relations Act is amended in section 2, in the definition of “Registrar” by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (3) The National Council for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons Act is amended in section 5 (1) (a), by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (4) The National Women's Council Act is amended in section 10 (6), by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (5) The Senior Citizens Council Act is amended in section 5, by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (6) The Sports Act is amended by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” wherever they appear and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (7) The Tamil Maha Sangam Act is amended in section 5 (3), by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”. (9) The Waqf Act is amended in section 49 (7) (b), by deleting the words “Registrar of Associations” and replacing them by the words “Chief Registrar of Associations”.
