7. Secretary
(1) The Permanent Secretary shall designate a public officer to act as
Secretary to the Board.
(2) The Secretary shall—
(a) keep a record of every licence granted under this Act;
(b) keep a record of particulars relating to licences and other matters
relating to residential care homes;
(c) carry out such duties as may be assigned to him by the Board;
(d) in the exercise of his functions, act in accordance with such
directions as he may receive from the Board.
