24. Works not required for prescription
(1) The acquisition by anyone of a prescriptive right to the passage of a
spring, stream or run of water, through his property, shall not require that
works, apparent or otherwise, have been made in relation to it.
(2) The prescription period under subsection (1) shall be 30 years.
