72. Syndic may order certain repairs
(1) Repairs to an amount not exceeding 1,000 rupees a year, may be
ordered and carried out by the syndic of a canal without special authority
from the riverains.
(2) Repairs to an amount exceeding 1,000 rupees may be carried out by
the syndic by special authority of the riverains given at a meeting.
