Section 94: Authority to keep records

94. Authority to keep records (1) The Authority shall keep a record in such form and containing such particulars as may be prescribed of all licences it grants under this Part. (2) Any— (a) police officer or person authorised by the Minister, without payment; or (b) other person appearing to the Authority to have reasonable ground for claiming so to do, upon payment of the prescribed fee, may, at any reasonable time, inspect and take copies of, or extracts from, the record kept under subsection (1). (3) The record shall be admissible in evidence of the matters required under this Part to be entered in it. (4) A copy of an entry made in the record under this section purporting to be— (a) signed by or on behalf of the Authority; or (b) certified by or on behalf of the Authority to be a true copy, shall be evidence of the matters stated in that entry without proof of the signature or authority of the person signing the entry.
