73. Penalties
Any person who—
(a) commits an offence under this Act;
(b) without lawful excuse, refuses or neglects to do anything he is
by this Act required to do;
(c) without lawful excuse, contravenes a notice served on him
under this Act; or
(d) without lawful excuse contravenes this Act,
shall, on conviction, be liable, where no special penalty is provided, to a fine
of not less than 5,000 rupees nor more than 25,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months.
