4. Membership of Regional Assembly
(1) The Regional Assembly shall consist—
(a) of 2 members for each of the 6 local regions; and
(b) subject to the provisions of section 11 (10), of 5 members
elected as provided by section 11 (1) to 11 (9) for the Island
region.
(2) Members of the Regional Assembly shall be returned in accordance
with the provision made by and under this Act and the Representation of the
People Act for—
(a) the holding of ordinary elections of local region members and
Island region members; and
(b) the filling of vacancies in Regional Assembly seats.
(3) An ordinary election shall involve the holding of elections for the
return of the entire Regional Assembly.
