124. Investigations Without prejudice to his powers under the Financial Services Act, where the Chief Executive has reasonable cause to believe that a person has engaged or is engaging in conduct in relation to securities that is not in the interest of the investing public or the public interest, the Chief Executive may order that an investigation be conducted under section 44 of the Financial Services Act.
