93. Offences under this Part
(1) Any person who contravenes any provision of this Part shall commit
an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 500,000 rupees.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), where under any provision in this
Part, a time period for compliance is specified, the person shall commit a
separate offence for each day the provision is not complied with after the
time period has elapsed and shall, on conviction, be liable for each offence,
to a fine of 5,000 rupees per day.
