26. Grant or refusal of application
(1) Subject to subsection (2), on receipt of an application made under
section 25, the Board may grant or refuse the application.
(2) Before taking a decision under subsection (1), the Board may—
(a) refer the application for consideration to a technical committee;
or
(b) require the applicant to give such further information as may be
necessary to determine the application.
