5. Composition of Board
(1) The Board shall consist of—
(a) a Chairperson, to be appointed by the Minister;
(b) the Director-General who shall be the Vice-Chairperson;
(c) the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry responsible for the subject of agriculture or his representative;
(d) a representative of the Ministry responsible for the subject of
finance;
(e) a representative of the Ministry responsible for the subject of
trade;
(f) the General Manager of the Board; and
(g) such other members, not exceeding 8, as may be appointed by
the Minister.
(2) Every ex officio member of the Board shall remain a member for as
long as he holds the office by virtue of which he became a member, and
every other member of the Board shall hold office for one year but shall be
eligible for reappointment.
(3) The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall be ex officio members of
any committee of the Board.
