119. Designation of tourist site (1) The Minister may designate, by regulations, any location which is predominantly visited by tourists, or having a touristic potential, as a tourist site. (2) Subject to any other enactment, where a location has been designated as a tourist site, the Minister may make regulations after consultation with the appropriate body referred to in subsection (3) for the control, conduct, or prohibition of activities being carried on at such location. (3) Where the location to be designated as a tourist site is— (a) under the administrative control of another Ministry, Government department, or another body; or (b) a private property, the Ministry shall set up a technical committee consisting of such members as the Minister may determine, to facilitate co-operation between the Authority and those bodies or the owner of the private property.
