19. Jurisdiction
Notwithstanding—
(a) section 114 of the Courts Act; and
(b) section 72 of the District and Intermediate Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act,
T16 – 7 [Issue 5]
a Magistrate shall have jurisdiction to try all offences under this Act or any
regulations made under this Act and may impose any penalty provided by
this Act or by any regulations made under this Act.
