22. Statutes and Regulations
Notwithstanding the Interpretation and General Clauses Act—
(a) the Statutes and Regulations shall not be required to be laid
before the Assembly;
(b) the Statutes shall be published in the Gazette and shall come
into operation on the day of their publication or on such later day
as may be specified in the Statutes; and
(c) the Regulations shall not be required to be published in the
Gazette but shall be published in such manner, and shall come
into operation on such day, as the Senate may determine.
