3A. Dismissal of workman
(1) An employer shall not dismiss a workman while the workman is off
work on account of injury.
(2) Any employer who contravenes subsection (1) shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 500 rupees
and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months.
