370. Director of Insolvency Service
(1) The Registrar of Companies shall be the Director of the Insolvency
Service.
(2) The Director shall be responsible for carrying out the functions of the
Insolvency Service and its control and management.
(3) The Director may, from time to time, issue Practice Directions setting
out—
(a) the form of notices required to be given to the Director under
this Act; or
(b) the procedure to be followed in registering documents or performing any act or thing required to be done under this Act.
(4) Any Practice Directions issued under subsection (3) shall be published
in the Gazette and shall remain in force unless amended or revoked by publication in the Gazette.
