390. Creditor’s fraudulent act
Where a creditor, or a person claiming to be a creditor, in any bankruptcy
proceedings, wilfully and with intent to defraud makes any false claim, or
any proof, declaration or statement of account which is untrue in any material particular, he shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding
100,000 rupees.
