30. Bid security
(1) A public body shall, where applicable and in such manner as may be
prescribed, include in the bidding documents the requirements for bid security.
(2) Forfeiture of bid security shall be imposed by the public body only in
the event of—
(a) a modification or withdrawal of a bid after the deadline for submission of bids during its period of validity;
(b) refusal by a bidder to accept a correction of an error appearing
on the face of the bid;
(c) failure by a successful bidder to sign a procurement contract in
accordance with the terms set forth in the bidding documents; or
(d) failure by a successful bidder to provide security for the performance of the procurement contract if required to do so by the
bidding documents.
