Section 7: Membership

7. Membership (1) (a) Any man over the age of 16, who pays the minimum annual subscription of an amount to be fixed by the Committee, may become an ordinary member of the Association and shall then have his name entered in the Register of Members. (b) An ordinary member may vote at all general meetings of the Association. (2) (a) Any woman over the age of 16 who pays the minimum annual subscription fixed by the Committee may become an auxiliary member of the Association. (b) Auxiliary members may vote at all general meetings of the Association. (3) Ordinary and auxiliary members who have given voluntary service to the Association in a financial year of the Association may be elected by the National Managing Committee as active members for the ensuing year in accordance with the rules. (4) Active members over the age of 21 may stand as candidates for the Committee. (5) (a) Any corporation, society or organisation whose aims are deemed by the Committee to be in line with the Association may become an affiliated association and shall act as such through its duly nominated representative. (b) Such representatives not being more than 3 in number at any one time may be co-opted by the Committee.
