30. Self initiation (1) Notwithstanding section 24, the Investigating Authority may, on its own initiative, initiate an investigation without having received a written application by, or on behalf of, the domestic industry for the initiation of such investigation. (2) Where the Investigating Authority initiates an investigation under subsection (1), it shall proceed with the investigation where there is sufficient evidence of dumping or subsidy, injury and causal link.
