393. Failure to comply with section 298, 299 or 300
(1) Any person who, without lawful justification or excuse,—
(a) fails to comply in any respect with any of the requirements affecting that person under section 298, 299 or 300;
(b) supplies any information which that person is required to supply
under section 298, 299 or 300 which is false or misleading in a
material particular,
shall commit an offence.
(2) A person who commits an offence under this section shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and to a
fine of 1,000,000 rupees.
